My name is Tyrique Perry and I am the founder of Amor Fati Cinematique, a veteran-owned , independent documentary studio, that is in service to human stories. I find stories that need to be shared, lived experiences and places history is still holding onto, and let life unfold in front of the camera, wherever that takes me. I don't manufacture moments or force scripts. I document the grit, warmth, and dignity of real people.

Because someday, today will be history too, and I’m dedicated to being there to remember it right. In an era rapidly shifting toward synthetic media and computer-generated visuals, Amor Fati Cinematique stands on a firm pledge: zero AI utilization. Every frame we shoot, every sound we record, and every edit we craft is done by human hands, through human eyes, and with human care.

A group of people, including a young man with dreadlocks and a white t-shirt, looking at a camera in an indoor setting with large windows and other individuals in the background.
A man with black curly hair and a beard taking a selfie with a video camera in front of a plain beige wall. He wears a black t-shirt, a white wristband, and a black cap tilted upside down under the camera.
A man sitting cross-legged on the ground, adjusting a professional video camera, with various camera equipment scattered around him under a metal roof structure.
A group of adults and children dressed in formal and semi-formal attire are gathered at a banquet table, with some seated and some standing, against a backdrop of beige curtains and large windows showing a nighttime city view.
A man with dark curly hair and a beard crouches near the edge of a body of water, holding a camera with a large lens. He is wearing a dark jacket, plaid shorts, and white earphones. Green plants and rocks are visible on the shore, with small waves in the water in the background.

I’ve been a creative for as long as I can remember. When I was ten years old, I told my little sister I’d have my own TV show one day. That was the start of a long path of exploring poetry, making music, learning audio engineering, picking up photography, and eventually finding my way to documentary film.

Today, I combine every piece of that background into one discipline. I make art people can actually feel, centered entirely on what matters most: real human connection. I tell stories to inspire, heal, educate, and bring us together
